One year on: Global Hunger Response

In May 2022, World Vision declared a Category III global emergency to respond to the mounting hunger crisis. One year into the global response, this report reflects upon the worsening crisis, organizational achievements, and areas for improvement in the years to come.

Urging CMS/HHS to Address Threats to Health Care

Wrote a press release and sign-on letter to CMS and HHS on behalf of 17 advocacy organizations to address threats to consumers’ health care. This includes policy changes in emergency -level care, short-term limited duration insurance (STLDI), co-pay accumulator adjustment programs, and telehealth.

The Image War: Western Media, China, and the Case for a Peaceful Rise

My undergraduate capstone for my bachelor’s degree in international studies from Rhodes College.

Describes the challenges of the global information age and an ongoing war of information between western countries, like the United States, and China. The paper explores the struggle over encoding and decoding messages as public diplomacy is pursued by both nations.
